Cannot navigate to the homepage, either .net or .com, blank white screen.

Hello, saw a link to the game / homepage for it on the warband forums, but every time I tried to go to it, it takes a long time to load a stupid blank white screen. I use IE8. I even tried changing it from .net to .com to no avail, same issue. Yet, somehow through a google search I can get to the forums, so there's something whacked with your homepage that makes it not show anything after it takes a long time to load NOTHING. Poor poor design, and from what I've read, this is a VERY common problem for people trying to access your homepage for this game. Guess I just won't try it, cause that's @@^$)&* stupid.

Aye?

Looking around Our World
Basic Education in using the Internet

Made by the BBC in an (futile) attempt to educate special individuals. Please take down notes during the lecture. At the end of the session, notes will be collected.

Lesson 1 : IE sucks
It is unilaterally agreed by both Her Majesty and the general public on that IE is inferior compared to other free third party internet browsers. While most people think (they know) that the choice of internet browsers do not affect basic template of web codes, with the exception of a couple of obscure web coding, there are often people who think they prove otherwise. These people are often regarded as smart(dumb)ass, or in short, an Individual. Comprehensive lecture of the Individual will be covered in lesson 3.

Lesson 2 : .Net =!= .Com
The controversial issue of internet domains spreads over the fact that both the .Net and the .Com domain name are both expected and required to pay annual fees to her Majesty. In most cases, the general peasantry are too short handed to buy every domain name suffix out there, and thus .Com will not yield the same results as .Net.

Lesson 3 : Individual problems
The personification of an individual is often known as the entity of one. While the Queen herself somehow represents the whole United Kingdom, most people are born thinking they are an entity of one. Regardless of the general rule of the 'bell curve' statistics in everyday life, Individuals will think that they are special, privileged and carry actual weight in the tidings of the world. This is in fact a common misconception among a circle of unfortunate people who imagine themselves as main characters in their self absorbed fantasy playground. Their wishes must be complied with or they will pout, complain or sometime bite to get attention. They do not comprehend the fact that complaining like a child does not get one anywhere.

Lesson 4 : Grow balls.
As one can observe from this phrase :

Quoted

Guess I just won't try it, cause that's @@^$)&* stupid.

This particular forum does not contain a swear filter. Damned if I missed it but as a recent fad among young individuals, using various symbols such as ~,!,@,#,$,%,^,&, and * linked together in random and repetitive fashion can result in said profanity. Profanity is something we as humans have been practicing for years end to perfect its integration in our common life. The result of such practice has resulted in me calling a god damned wanker with a bloody cock stuck up yer Jane Rottencrotch. As all can see, such profanity does not include symbols. Be a man, grow some balls. On the other hand, your participation is in no way mandatory as there is nothing here for you to try. Please do find me something to try on, I'm itching for excitement. Poor poor misinformed individual.

Lesson 5 : Google
And I quote :

Quoted

Yet, somehow through a google search I can get to the forums

This above statement shows your tenacity in searching the Google has resulted in you finding this forum and subsequently posting on it. Google as the Queen initially feared, is indeed a powerful tool. A pity that it is a virtual holy grail in the hands of fools. Indeed I weep for the future of mankind.

This is the end of the lecture. Please hand in your notes to your teachers or class supervisor.

And so, again I quote :

Quoted

, so there's something whacked with your homepage that makes it not show anything after it takes a long time to load NOTHING.

Moritz you old rascal, we had a homepage for this forum? Doesn't it leads straight to the forum homepage?

And thus :

Quoted

Poor poor design, and from what I've read, this is a VERY common problem for people trying to access your homepage for this game.

Yes indeed Moritz, how ashamed are you for your very bad design. Apparently we already have a common problem. Oh jolly good, does that mean we are getting ahead of ourselves here?

I will not blame those people who wear our old banners, which by the way have an outdated link, and which in turn might be the cause of the problem. But I do feel the tempt to blame upon the impatience and the bearing of people who think that they indeed are all important.Indeed one day these poor ignorant souls will be the undoing of our whole civilization.

May god bless you and may you not fall into a pit of manure tomorrow.

Ever tried clicking on "Home"? 8)

Yes indeed Moritz, how ashamed are you for your very bad design.

I'm so sorry. ;(
I'll go and get a rope...

To the topic:
This is because this forum software uses a different template for IE than for all other browsers (Yes, it is because IE is the worst browser in this web). The plugin we use for the homepage apparently doesn't support this, but this is no final solution anyway. Be patient and be happy with the rest of the site. And get a different browser.

Edit: And this is the wrong board, by the way. ;)
Cogito ergo sum.
